The visit marked an important milestone in bilateral relations, as the first visit by a Vietnamese State Presidents during the 40 years of diplomatic ties.
During the visit, Sang met with the German President and CHANCELLOR to discuss collaboration between Vietnam and Germany in a range of fields.
Several agreements were signed, including on science and technology co-operation, an amended protocol on air transport, and MoU’s on forestry collaboration and regular dialogues, and technical services to maintain A320 engines between Lufthansa Group and Vietjet Air.
