The party chief hoped that the ambassador would continue to act as a bridge for the two countries’ ministries, agencies and localities. He wished Laos well for its 40th National Day anniversary, the 95 th birth anniversary of President Kaysone Phomvihane and the 10th National Party Congress, and looked forward to the country acting as ASEAN Chair in 2016.
The leader said Vietnam would do its utmost together with Laos to foster the special relationship between the two countries. Phomvihane said he would spare no effort to strengthen the traditional friendship, special solidarity and ties between Vietnam and Laos.
