The highlight includes a collection of works by Nguyen Du, including translations of his famous The Tale of Kieu.
This is the latest works of Nguyen Du collected by the Management Board of Nguyen Du Memorial Site in Ha Tinh Province. Among them is a version of The Tale of Kieu published in 1917. It was re-transcribed into the latin alphabet by scholar Phạm Kim Chi.
The book contains valuable information which helps us understand more about the relationship among people in Nguyen Du’s family.
"According to Phan Kim Chi, when he visited Ha Tinh Province, he had a chance to meet Nguyen Mai, Nguyen Du’s grand-newphew. Mai let him see another version of the Tale of Kieu. After that, Chi asked for Mai’s approval to translate the book into contemporary Vietnamese. This is a ceremony introducing The Tale of Kieu translated into Russian. It was organised by the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences with the participation of nearly 500 academics. This Russian version of Kieu is probably the most complete and accurate yet and is also a cultural bridge connecting the two countries.

Kieu continues to inspire research and study. The work has been translated into more than 20 languages. Efforts in collecting, translating and studying the works of Nguyen Du not only contribute to enhancing the value of Kieu but also cementing the position and talent of World Cultural Celebrity, Nguyen Du.
