A forum on economic co-operation between the Taiwanese business community and Vietnam was co-hosted by Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) and Vietnam Economic and Cultural office in Taipei on November 23th.
The event focused on trade and investment co-operation prospects between Vietnamese and Taiwanese businesses, focusing ontextiles, footwear, electronics, construction and agriculture.
Taiwanese firms are Vietnam’s fourth largest investment partners and the island is the fifth largest trade partner. The forum should open new opportunities for co-operation between Vietnamese and Taiwanese business communities and help strengthen links in the future./
