On March 26th, while fishing in the waters of the Spratly archipelago, 70 nautical miles from Nha Trang, the fishing vessel's engine stopped working.
The communication system on the boat had stopped working due to a lack of electricity. The captain sent out an emergency signal and were rescued after 1.5 days.
At 8 am this morning, rescue boat SAR 27-01 successfully brought the fishing vessel ashore in Nha Trang, saving 8 fishermen.
