Some schools are now turning to digital systems to bring information together, streamline daily operations and give teachers more time to focus on their students.
In Hanoi, alongside the reorganisation of classes, staff and facilities, school data also needs to be consolidated under a single system.
With a larger scale of management, data needs to be organised systematically and centralised. At Dai Thinh Primary School, data digitalisation has become part of daily management, covering functions from student management and attendance to assessment and digital student records.
Nguyen Thi Van, Information Technology Officer, Dai Thinh Primary School, Quang Minh Commune, Hanoi said: "Our school is currently using around ten software platforms. The top priority is to ensure that student data remains accurate and up to date, so that the merger does not affect our pupils."
Le Thi Thu Nga, Principal, Dai Thinh Primary School, Quang Minh Commune, Hanoi said: "Attendance, student assessment, monitoring academic performance and digital student records are all very important. We also use the software to assess teaching and administrative staff."
The school also used VnEdu education ecosystem to centrally manage student data, support data verification and updates, and connect with VNeID digital identification. With nearly 1,300 students, standardised data gives the school a single, consistent source of information for management and monitoring students' learning progress.
Chu Thi Thanh Hang, Dai Thinh Primary School, Quang Minh Commune, Hanoi said: "In the past, we managed student information in the traditional way, relying on paper records and documents. But after integrating everything into a more systematic system, we can access information much more easily and efficiently."
From paper records to shared digital data, technology is helping schools reduce manual work in its management processes. When data is properly connected, management becomes more streamlined, giving teachers more time for what matters most: teaching and supporting their students.
