“Regarding the administrative reforms in our country, we've decreased the number of procedures from 239 to 168. At present, 100% of our customs procedures have been automated in every customs office nationwide”, the Deputy Chief Director of General Department of Vietnam Customs Le Hong Tan said.
At the conference, both sides emphasized the danger of bribery in international transactions, and the need to promote joint efforts to combat it.
“Bilateral co-operation in this area will take place regularly between large public corporations and private businesses of both countries. This is what Russia aim to carry out with Vietnam in order to create a healthy environment for the businesses of both countries”, Viacheslav Kharinov added.
According to the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in Vietnam, co-operation in combating bribery in international transactions will boost economic ties, especially in the implementation of the Vietnam - Eurasian Economic Union Free Trade Agreement.
