As a national TV station, Vietnam Television or VTV has witnessed impressive growth for more than four decades. 45 years ago, the very first signals of television were broadcast with such rudimentary equipment such as a hand-assembled camera.
Though founded and developed in the middle of the war, VTV has always put emphasis on training its human resources. Training courses led by international experts and overseas short-term study courses have continuously been offered.
After 2 voting rounds within a month, the winners of 14 categories were presented with VTV awards, including the most newsworthy and humane footage.
This year’s ceremony also marked the 45th year since Vietnam Television’s first broadcast. The event drew the participation of well-loved TV journalists, editors, artists and singers.
