In order to produce television programs at international standard, Vietnam Television continues expanding cooperation with various world television broadcast stations, and media and entertainment corporations. Vietnam Television will collaborate with Japan’s TBS on its newest drama project. After the success of Nguoi cong su in 2013, this is the second time VTV works with TBS on television program.
This time, VTV and TBS cooperate to produce a television drama named Khuc hat mat troi. The movie script was acquired from TBS by VTV, and developed content from the original script. It is shot in both Vietnam and Japan in mid-April 2015, during cherry blossom season.
In charge of making Khuc hat mat troi is the Television Production Centre (VFC) of VTV. VFC successfully collaborated with TBS to produce Nguoi cong su film project, which has won many national major awards.
Mr. Do Thanh Hai, Director of VFC affirmed that both VTV and VFC have a television production capacity at regional and international standard, after the releasing of Nguoi cong su, Tuoi thanh xuan, and Khuc hat mat troi in the near future.
The most notable of Japanese cast is the singer and actress Nao Matsushita. The multi-talented female artist has participated in many film and television projects. Besides, she is the musical ambassador of Japan in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary.
Nao said she was delighted to take part in Khuc hat mat troi. 9 years ago, when the original film was broadcasted in Japan, Nao played an important role. She believes that she will give a wholehearted performance in this Vietnamese version of the film.
Vietnamese cast stars Meritorious Thu Ha as one of the lead roles. The comeback of this beauty screen would be worth waiting. Young actress Nha Phuong, who is known for the Tuoi thanh xuan film produced by VTV and CJ E&M, also participates in the film.
VTV channel is airing Khuc hat mat troi in late 2015.
