VTV.vn - Payment using banking cards is a method known for its safety and convenience. The addition of Mobile Point of Sale, which is essentially a mobile cash register or an electronic point of sale terminal, can encourage more people to use cards

The main difference between a card reader using 3G technology and other card readers is that thanks to 3G technology, the device can be taken anywhere with a mobile phone signal.

The work of the employees in this company has become much easier since they’ve adopted this device and they can now accept payments anytime, anywhere.

 Bui Trung Kien,
Deputy General Director, PTI Insurance said: We’re introducing these devices to our customers. They can pay on the spot. Our employees can help them arrange payments quickly and easily with them.

Some Vietnamese customers are still cautious and doubtful about online payment. These new devices are expected to make payment methods straight-forward and easy.

Even though the current market is still developing, its potential, as well as potential for these devices is huge.

Co-founder
Posseple Company, Singapore said: "
I think Vietnam is a market with great potential for this payment system because the country has a lot of small and medium enterprises, as well as restaurants and shops; while banks often have to think before providing card readers. This is a big problem, especially for big cities like Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City or Bangkok, because they have many tourists who dislike using cash".

With over 86 million credit cards issued, Vietnam has huge potential to increase card payments. According to experts, card payments will increase sales not only for big companies, but also for small and medium enterprises, and even individual sellers.
