The event shows ASEAN’s strong commitment in ensuring health protection for all people in the region. Medical cooperation between ASEAN countries and their external partners has seen progress in disaster management, the aging population, infectious disease prevention, and so on. At the event, Vietnam also proposed an ASEAN joint project on disaster prevention funded by Japan, which is planned to be implemented in the future.
