Vietstartup London, a club of young Vietnamese people who plan to start their own businesses in the UK, holds a meeting every month for its members to connect, exchange information and learn from each other. The content of today's program is finding solutions to problems in the implementation of ideas.
Ane Phung, UENI Ltd, London, UK said: There are many talented Vietnamese in Europe and around the world. I wonder how I can connect them to each other so I'm thinking of creating a map to facilitate that. If I want to come to Silicone Valley but I don't know anyone there, I can use the map to reach out to those living there and understand more about their lives in the US.
In the beginning, Ane Phung's project encountered difficulties. The group has helped her overcome difficulties and develop her ideas. The Vietstartup London Club was founded in 2016. Minh and Son, the two co-founders of the group, both work in London.
Nguyen Le Tuan Minh, Co-chair, Vietstartup London Club, UK said: There are many young Vietnamese in London. They may be students or have already started working. They have many ideas but don't have a home where they can share their passions with others and put them into practice. We want to create an environment for people to share their experiences and test their ideas, which are fundamental for their startups in the UK as well as those in Vietnam.
The start-up club, with its variety of activities, not only aims to help its members overcome barriers, it also hopes to become a bridge between the Vietnamese startup community in London and the startup community in Vietnam and the rest of the world.
