The 300-bed hospital has received a total investment of over 1.76 trillion VND (74.2 million USD).
The general hospital is expected to begin operation in June 2025.
At the groundbreaking ceremony, the hospital signed a memorandum of understanding on clinical educational collaboration with GE Healthcare Corporation on diagnostic imaging and specialised areas of neurology, spinal treatment, and cancer.
Assoc. Prof, Dr. Kieu Dinh Hung, chairman of the Hospital’s Professional Advisory Council, said that upon its completion, the hospital will put modern machines into operation for early warning of neurosurgery, minimally invasive surgery, and quick post-surgery recovery.
In particular, the hospital will focus on five areas: cancer treatment, spinal and musculoskeletal surgery, infertility treatment, aesthetics and stem cells, and rehabilitation, Hung noted.
He added that the hospital will also link up with leading experts in the world to provide examination, treatment, training, and technology transfer for the hospital.
