Hung Vuong Hospital ranked first in the list, followed by Children's Hospital 1 and People's Hospital 115.
The average evaluation score in the private hospital group increased by 9% compared to 2021. However, while three private hospitals were listed in the top 10 in 2021, only 2 hospitals made it to this year’s list, namely the Hoan My Saigon Hospital and Tam Anh Hospital.
The evaluation was conducted from February 24, 2023, to assess the quality of hospitals, patient satisfaction, and their healthcare workers in 2022, according to the regulations of the Ministry of Health. The Department of Health reported that the quality scores among hospitals in the city have significantly and evenly improved.
The evaluation score is based on the activities and tasks that hospitals comply with and implement under the regulations and guidance of the Ministry of Health.
The criteria include hospital quality, safety and control of epidemics, surgical safety, quality of laboratories, the satisfaction of patients and healthcare workers, and the application of information technology.
The Department of Health also inspected and evaluated issues related to biological safety, vaccination for COVID-19 prevention and control, and the implementation of legal regulations on environmental protection and medical waste management.
