This was a statement made by the UK Foreign Office Minister for Asia and the Pacific Mark Field during his visit to the Vietnam Bear Rescue Center in Tam Đảo district, Vĩnh Phúc Province last weekend.
At the center, the Minister listened to recommendations to supplement new policies and legislations related to wildlife from non-governmental organizations in Vietnam. These recommendations will be reported at the 2018 London Conference on Illegal Wildlife Trade in October this year.
