Prime Minister Dung said Vietnam will continue to work with Russia in promoting their strategic partnership. The PM added that the Vietnamese government supported co-operation between Vietnam's Ministry of Public Security and Russia's Interior Ministry, particularly in human resource development, anti-terrorism, crime prevention, and cyber security.
Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev recounted the main points of his meeting with Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang held on the same day. The minister spoke highly of the fruitful co-operation between the two ministries over the years. A joint action programme for 2016 to 2018 was signed between the two ministers at the event.
