The award is held annually to honour officials working in external information services, as well as to encourage individuals and collectives to participate in disseminating external information through press works.
Addressing the launch ceremony, Deputy Head of the PCC’s Commission for Information and Education Vu Thanh Mai said that the awards are of important meaning, demonstrating the attention of the Party and State to external information services, contributing to promoting the image of Vietnam to the world.
This year’s awards will continue to honour press submissions in Vietnamese or foreign languages in the categories of Vietnamese printed newspaper stories, Vietnamese online newspaper and news website stories, foreign language printed newspaper stories, foreign language online newspapers and news website stories; radio; television; photos; books; video clips and initiatives, ideas and products, with external information values.
The works must be published between July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024. Entries should be sent to the email address at giaithongtindoingoai10@gmail.com or Vietnam Television Office at No.43 Nguyen Chi Thanh, Hanoi, before July 31, 2024.
The ninth awards received 1,456 entries with eight first prizes, 22 second prizes and 30 third prizes, presented to award winners.
