The Action month will take place from May 1 to 31 and be officially launched on April 26, 2024, along with Workers’ Month, to strengthen the control of labour accidents and occupational diseases, promote the export of goods and contribute to sustainable economic and social development strategies.
The theme of this year’s Action month is “Strengthening labour safety and hygiene in the workplace and the supply chain”, announced the Central Steering Committee on Action month for labour safety and hygiene at a meeting held in Hanoi on March 27.
According to the Central Steering Committee, 12 ministries and corporations, in addition to nearly 60 localities, have developed plans to respond to the Action month in 2024.
Various activities will be held during the Action month, including gift presentations to victims of labour accidents and occupational diseases, a national dialogue on labour safety and hygiene, seminars and training sessions on labour safety, and others.
