The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment will lead the development of a national database covering material sources, including mines, reserves, extraction capacity, demand and supply coordination. The ministry is also tasked with developing an inter-provincial supply coordination mechanism by October, prioritising major national projects.
A digital map of construction material supplies will be published annually, along with a system to forecast supply and demand by region in each period.
Local authorities have also been asked to assess mineral potential and review existing mines, while also preparing material reserves for projects planned for 2030 to 2045.
