Lao Cai province is speeding up construction of four multi-level boarding schools in the border communes of Mường Khương, Pha Long, A Mú Sung and Y Tý, with a target to complete them all before 30 August.
The four projects have all completed their structural stages. Construction teams are now focusing on infrastructure and equipment installation, working three shifts a day under the province’s 100-day, high-intensity campaign’s to meet the deadline.
The Mường Khương school will serve as the central national link for the new school-year opening ceremony and is expected to welcome nearly 1,000 students.
