VTV.vn - Ho Chi Minh City took samples to test for SARS-CoV-2 from about 110,000 officials, teachers and candidates for the 2021 high school graduation exams at 155 points across the city, on July 3.

The testing stations must all comply with 5K requirements and maintain distancing according to regulations. Candidates must come to the testing stations in order, as per the time frame arranged in advance, so as to avoid crowd gathering. The test results are expected to be available on July 4 and 5.

According to the plan, the health force will use the pooled sampling method: 10 or 15 combined. The total number of samples taken includes 17,052 officials, teachers and staff and 89,275 candidates.

* In order to best protect the health of candidates and towards a safe and quality high school graduation exam 2021, Quang Ninh Province has decided to test for Covid-19 with the pooled sampling method for all candidates participating in the upcoming high school graduation exam. Accordingly, more than 16,400 Quang Ninh Province's candidates participating in the exam will be sampled for Covid-19 testing.

Provincial People's Committees assign People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to coordinate with Departments of Education and Training, Departments of Health and related units to collect and test samples for the candidates. Localities are to complete taking samples for testing and report to the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of the province on July 5.

* On July 3, the Department of Education and Training of Phu Yen Province coordinated with the Department of Health to conduct a SARS-CoV-2 screening test for more than 10,000 candidates participating in the high school graduation exam 2021 and teachers.

Accordingly, on July 3, there will be 23/26 test sites to organise sampling for candidates. In particular, the testing stations in the districts of Song Hinh and Tuy An were added later due to the lack of biological products for testing. Test results are expected to be available on July 4-5.

The Department of Education and Training of Phu Yen Province also coordinated with local authorities to have many plans to ensure the COVID-19 prevention and control for the exam.
