Under the plan, the two Departments of Planning and of Architecture will be merged into a single Department of Construction.
Furthermore, the three Departments of Culture, of Sports and of Tourism will be combined to form a single Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The city will also establish a Department of Foreign Affairs and reorganise the Office of the municipal People’s Committee.
At the same session, the council is also considering tuition fees for high-quality public schools in the 2026 - 2027 academic year, as well as several major investment and project-extension proposals
