This statement was made by the Head of the Party Central Committee’s Theoretical Council Nguyễn Xuân Thắng at an international symposium held in Hanoi on Friday. This is part of a series of events to commemorate the 45th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
Sharing the same viewpoint, Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam, Umeda Kunio, also revealed that in recent years, more and more Japanese enterprises have expressed their confidence in the Vietnamese economy. At the symposium, delegates and experts from the two countries assessed both the successes and limitations of Vietnam-Japan relations over the past 45 years, while pointing out areas that need to be adjusted and developed in the following period.
