At the talks, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee remarked about how much Vietnam treasures its ties with Russia and prioritizes consolidating and enhancing its partnership with the country.
He proposed that the two sides intensify cooperation and exchanges in legislative affairs as well as increase the role of the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Parliamentarians' Group in stepping up ties between the two parliaments and countries.

The Russian Vice-Chairman also suggested that both sides pay more attention to educating younger generations about their time-honored friendship and intensifying their parliaments and social organizations' supervision over the implementation of signed cooperative agreements.
