Liu Qibao is in Vietnam to attend the 12th Vietnam -China Political Ideology workshop.
At the reception in Hanoi, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong warmly welcomed the visit, expressing his hope that the successful organisation of the workshop, which focused on renovating economic growth models in Vietnam and changing economic development modes in China, would enrich knowledge and theories on renovating the economic growth model in pursuit of sustainable development.
The two sides also express their determination to develop bilateral ties based on mutual respect, mutual benefit and equality.
