Themed ‘Livestock transformation for better production, nutrition, environment and life", the event is jointly held by the Department of Livestock Production (DLP), under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Vietnam Agriculture Newspaper, and Informa Markets.
Speaking at a press conference in Hanoi on August 7, DLP Director Duong Tat Thang said, that the event aims to provide a venue for businesses to introduce advanced technologies, discuss new trends, and address challenges faced by the livestock and aquaculture industries, in both the nation and the entire ASEAN region.
It also honours businesses and organisations that have made outstanding contributions to the development of the livestock industry.
Vietstock 2024 is expected to attract the participation of more than 400 exhibitors and welcome 13,000 visitors from 50 countries around the world.
Various seminars and workshops will be organised within the framework of the event, serving as forums for farmers, the business community, scientists, and managers, to share information to devise development orientations for the livestock industry more sustainably.
