Speaking at the ceremony, Do Van Chien, Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee, said that employees are always the most valuable assets and capital of a business. To care for, protect, and create welfare for employees is to create the internal strength of the enterprise such that the enterprise can carry out all its plans, visions, and missions.
He suggested that the VGCL and trade unions at all levels need to continue to build and effectively implement the learning emulation movement and provide training to improve vocational skills and life among workers so that they can adapt, have sustainable jobs, and continuously increase their income in the context of the fourth industrial revolution.
At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen dialogue, negotiation, and consultation with employers on ensuring the working environment, maintaining jobs, ensuring income, arranging labour, and solving problems on regimes for employees in accordance with the law.
Within the ceremony, 10 businesses received Certificates of Merit from the VGCL while 10 businesses received Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).
