Opportunities are now open for more Vietnamese nurses to travel to Germany and receive training and find employment. Germany is facing an alarming shortage of qualified nurses in the geriatric care sector. Candidates under 25 years of age, after being qualified, will receive training in both German language and vocational skills during a 13 month long course. After the course, they will receive a certificate, with which they can go to Germany to receive training for 3 years. After graduating, the nurses will be allowed to stay and work in Germany for the long-term.
