Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thi Thang emphasised that the conference aimed to evaluate the implementation of the task of developing the industry and trade of the northern provinces and cities in 2022 and the first 6 months of 2023, thereby setting out the tasks and solutions to be implemented in the last 6 months of 2023.
The conference also helped create opportunities for businesses in the region to meet, seek opportunities for cooperation, promote investment and trade in order to strengthen investment linkages, develop production and business between localities in the region.
The conference also heard presentations from the Departments of Industry and Trade of the provinces and cities, focusing mainly on solutions to promote industrial development, expand export markets, and support policies for the development of agro-industrial products, and develop commercial infrastructure in the direction of civilization and modernity.
