Another 24 Zika cases have been detected in Ho Chi Minh City over the past days, increasing the total number of cases in the city to 62. The city's health department has agreed on patient reception and treatment procedures based on the Health Ministry's guidelines, with special care for infected pregnant mothers. The city will collect samples from all health institutions. The Pasteur Institute and Hospital for Tropical Diseases are responsible for sample testing. The Preventive Health Centre will then announce infected patients who will be sent to the Hospital for Tropical Diseases for treatment. Meanwhile, Tu Du and Hung Vuong hospitals will treat infected expectant women.
