The deputy prime minister asked the provincial election council to complete the profile of the candidates standing and to hold a second consultative meeting. He also required the council to collect opinions from voters and to review the eligibility of the candidates. In the meeting with the provincial authorities, he said that the province needs to prepare the finances for the election instead of relying on advance funding from the Ministry of Finance.
