They were the first soldiers to be assigned by late President Hồ Chí Minh to construct the Trường Sơn Trail 58 years ago. Thanks to the trail, tens of thousands of tonnes of ammunition and medication were transported to the battlefield in the south, which contributed to the country's reunification. Nowadays, Corps No 12 Trường Sơn Construction Corporation continues to build transport constructions to contribute to national economic development.
