Addressing the conference, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc praised Thanh Hoa's 32 investment projects, valued at some 6.1 billion USD, mainly in processing and manufacturing. The prime minister stressed that the province should strive to become a model in attracting investment. He said the government would do all it can to help Thanh Hoa achieve its investment targets. Thanh Hoa is attracting investment in processing, agriculture, tourism, healthcare, and urban infrastructure.
