This is part of the airline's efforts to satisfy the increasing travel demands to Hanoi, one of the fastest growing travel hubs in Southeast Asia and Chiang Mai, an exotic cultural and historical gem in Northern Thailand. The airline already offers Bangkok-Danang and Bangkok-Phu Quoc direct flights.
It's the first airline to implement the Hanoi-Chiang Mai direct route. Using a 70 seater ATR aircraft there's a flight from Chiang Mai to Hanoi at 09:55, and a flight from Hanoi to Chiang Mai at 12:45. Bangkok Airways is offering discounts until June 30th. One-way tickets start at 105 US dollars, and two-way ticket start at 192 US dollars.
