Regarding this increasing demand, the quality of the airport's infrastructure should be improved in order to meet the actual demand.
In the first quarter of 2018, the Phu Quoc international airport will start work on the second phase of the terminal, which will help the airport meet the requirements of major aircrafts such as the Boeing 787 and the A350. Developing airport infrastructure is expected to help Phu Quoc take full advantage and promote its economy, as well as create a driving force for the development of the region.
