The launching ceremony was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam who introduced the project which aims to “share knowledge, promote creativity, and connect the community – for the future of Vietnam”. The official website of the project at http://itrithuc.vn is now open and will serve as a platform wherein users can submit and refine information or pose questions on information related to Vietnam, all using the “wisdom of the crowds”.
The structure of the knowledge bank includes open data and a Q&A bank among others. The bank will also feature basic data related to governmental laws, regulations, policies, curriculums, text books, and intellectual property, with standardized information on law and health to become an accurate source of reference for users. The project will also support enterprises in utilizing the knowledge bank in order to develop new applications.
