2015 LUALA Concerts introduces unique Harp performances

VTV.vn - From November 15th to December 13th, LUALA Concert takes place with a 2-hour performance (15h-17h) every Sunday at 61 Ly Thai To, Hanoi.

This year, LUALA will feature 2 famous classical music artists from Japan and Korean.

Harpist Aya Matsumoto was born in Japan and started following harp at 12. She graduated with bachelor degree at Tokyo Musical University and received scholarship from Jacobs Musical School (Indiana University). Aya used to perform in German, U.S. and also be a guest of Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra.

Boomi Jang came from Korea. She majored in piano in Hanyang University (Seoul) and respectively graduated with Master of Art and Doctor of Philosophy at Hanover and Dresden (German). Boomi Jang was also a finalist of Concours International de Piano Teresa Llacuna – Ville de Valance Contest (France) and achieved numerous awards in German, Italy, France, etc. Boomi Jang is currently teaching piano at Seoul Institute of the Arts and Gwangju university (Korea)

LUALA Concert introduces academic classical music to the audience in Hanoi. Especially, on December 6th, the show highlights musical works for children including Peter and Wolves by Sergey Prokofiev and will be performed by Aya Matsumoto. This is a great chance for Vietnamese audiences to experience harp music.

Also, 2015 LUALA Concert will present Hanoi Chamber Orchestra with many talented artists, namely Pianist Ngo Phuong Vi, Oboist Nguyen Hoang Tung, Opera singer Vo Hong Quan, Bandmaster Nguyen Khac Thanh.
