Finding Nemo’s sequel releases after 13 years

VTV.vn - 13 years since the successful “Finding Nemo”, Disney Pixar releases the sequel named “Finding Dory”.

Taking place of 6 months since the seeking of Nemo, Dory now has a normal life with other white-orange ocellaris clownfishes. Once seeing schools of Manta Rays returning homes, Dory questions about family, recalls her past and has strange dreams.

Despite suffering from short-term memory loss, Dory determines to search for her past through dreams. Dory goes on finding her parents, hometown but does not know how to begin.

Released in 2003, Finding Nemo earned Disney Pixar a huge success with 1 Oscar for Best Animation and 1 Golden Globe nomination for Best Motion Picture: Comedy-Musical. It was also list in 10 Best Animation Movies of All Time by American Film Institute in 2008. Finding Nemo ranked 5th in the Box Office.

Among of the supporting character, Dory has left great impressions for the audience. Dory has over 25 million fans on the character’s Facebook page by far and becomes the most favorite individual character of Disney.

On November 10th, Disney Pixar released their first trailer for Finding Dory. The clip revealed parts of her adventure along with other sea creatures.

Andrew Santon, who brought success to Finding Nemo in 2003, continues directing the sequel.

Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks and Hayden Rolence respectively portrayed 3 protagonists, namely Dory, Marlin and Nemo. The movie also featured Ed O’Niell as Hank The Octopus, Ty Burrell as Bulega Bailey The Whale, Dafoe as Gill, Diane Keaton as Jenny – Dory’s mother; Eugene as Charlie – Dory’s father.

The movie is scheduled to release on June 17th 2016 in 3D, IMAX 3D.
