At this session, the NA has basically completed the proposed agenda regarding legislative and judicial issues, among others.
The NA passed 16 laws and 11 resolutions while commenting on 10 bills. The NA also gave a nod to the formation of the National Electoral Council (EC) while voting on the EC’s President, deputies, and members. Accordingly, the election of deputies to the 14th NA and all levels of People’s Councils for the 2016-2020 tenure will be held on May 22, 2016.
