Held this year for the 13th time, the annual camp is organised by the Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs and Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The event started with delegates offering incense at the Temple of Literature to pay their respects to King Ly Thanh Tong, Ly Nhan Tong, Le Thanh Tong, the who has founded and developed this place into Vietnam's first university.
The ceremony continued with performances from the overseas youth themselves. The camp will take participants to various sites across the country to help them learn more about the country. The camp will end on July 23rd in Danang city.
