The candidates, selected from 63 contestants of the semi-final round held on September 15, were judged on five criteria: figure, body, performance, behaviour and manners.
From now to the final gala, contestants will take part in a number of side events, such as visiting sites and promoting tourist attractions in the Central Highlands city of Da Lat alongside participating in charitable activities.
The winner will receive a crown worth 2.2 billion VND (about 100,000 USD) and will represent Vietnam at this year’s Miss Universe.
Additional awards include Miss Photo, Miss Beach, Miss Friendly and Miss People’s Choice.
