After a thrilling competition, Le Xuan Manh - a contestant from Ham Rong High School in Thanh Hoa became the champion of the 2023 Road to Mount Olympia. Standing on the stage of victory with the laurel wreath, Xuan Manh was filled with joy and pride in his achievements. "I want to dedicate this victory to all those who supported and cheered for me during this journey," Xuan Manh shared.
The new champion emphasized, "Victory is a combination of knowledge and luck, and in this competition, I had both."
Xuan Manh explained that he had a carefree attitude when entering this competition, feeling that he had nothing to lose, and he gave his best effort. In the first three rounds, he scored lower than other contestants, and he admitted to feeling somewhat disappointed for not performing as well as he had hoped. However, Xuan Manh stated that he directed all his energy toward the final two sections.
Regarding his opponent in the final question, Trong Thanh, Xuan Manh asserted: "Trong Thanh is exceptionally skilled!". Additionally, the champion noted that all the contestants in the finals were the best of Olympia 2023. They all delivered an excellent performance, each showcasing their unique strengths.
Xuan Manh's study approach is not exceptionally distinctive, he mainly studies and reads from textbooks.
Since his early days in elementary school, Xuan Manh harbored the dream of becoming a doctor. This aspiration consistently received support from his family. Mrs. Vu Thi Huong, Xuan Manh's mother, couldn't hide her emotions and expressed delight and pride in her youngest son's victory.
Apart from academics, Mrs. Huong mentioned that her son has a strong passion for soccer and can play in various positions. She shared that from an early age, Manh demonstrated distinctive qualities, including early reading and proficiency in basic mathematics…
To support his younger brother, Le Xuan Duong, a final-year student at the University of Technology, National University of Hanoi - Manh's older brother, expressed that his brother is the family's pride. In terms of academics, Duong has consistently provided substantial support, primarily in the natural sciences subjects of mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
Le Xuan Duong disclosed that his younger brother has been a fan of the Road to Mount Olympia since the 11th grade and is a dedicated follower of Pham Thi Ngoc Oanh, the 11th-grade champion. This nurtured Manh's dream of conquering Olympia, but it wasn't until the Âm vang xứ Thanh (Resounding Thanh) competition that Manh's Olympia dream truly began to grow.
