Quang Nam Province honours sea rescuers

Fisherman Phạm Phu Trung was among those awarded with over 34 fishermen saved at sea. His courage and valour was rewarded with 1,000 USD. The awards were approved by Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh.

The government has also made funds available to cover operational costs in rescue missions by local fishermen. The province has also taken this opportunity to discuss future rescue projects with the community.
