VNG Ironman 70.3 Vietnam is an international triathlon event, including 1.9km of swimming, 90km of cycling and 21km of running. This year’s event attracted over 1100 athletes from 60 countries and territories.
After the contest in Danang City, 46 of the best athletes will be chosen to join the final world round in Mooloobala, Australia, and 44 will join the Asia-Pacific final round in Cebu, Philippines.
Before the event kicked off today, organisers held a run to raise charity donations. Last year, VNG Ironman 70.3 Vietnam raised 45 thousand USD to support the Danang Hospital for Women and Children.
