The natural disaster wiped out all the equipment on 10 ships and completely sank one. The rescue forces were deployed just in time and brought 10 ships back to shore.
Over 30 other vessels are still stranded at sea. The local authorities are exploring ways to bring these ships back to shelter as soon as possible. The authorities have not yet recorded any casualties.
