Sapa Summer Festival 2016 kicked off a series of activities that will take place in the region throughout the year. The festival aims to promote the regional tourism sector, and introduce the culture and hospitality of the local people here.
Nguyen Chi Mai, Bao Yen District, Lao Cai Province said : “This event attracted a lot of Vietnamese and foreign tourists. It features the most typical cultural values of Sapa in Lào Cai Province. I just want to say that I love Lào Cai”.
Chu Ba Tho, Viet Yen District, Bac Giang Province said: “I’m feeling so great and so is everyone else. This place is beautiful”.
Sapa Summer Festival 2016 is a chance to introduce investors and enterprises all over the world to the region's unique tourism advantages.
Dang Xuan Phong, Chairman, Lao Cai Province People’s Committee said: “The event conveyed a message to enterprises and investors about tourism cooperation between the mountainous and sea regions. It kicked off the activities of national tourism year 2017 in Lào Cai Province”.
The Sapa summer festival 2016 also paved the way for a conference on this year's tourism promotion in Lào Cai Province, which was held on Sunday morning.
