Vietnam, Malaysia to improve efforts to fight crime
VTV.vn - In terms of future collaboration, the two sides agreed to establish regular Deputy Minister-level dialogue and more multi-level exchanges.

Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang had a meeting with Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs Ahmad Zahid Hamidi at the 10th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Transnational Crime in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur.

The two sides highly valued links between the two countries’ police forces in preventing and fighting transnational crimes. Measures to foster ties among countries in combating terrorism, human trafficking, weapon smuggling, drugs and money laundering-related crimes, piracy and hi-tech crime were also discussion.

In terms of future collaboration, the two sides agreed to establish regular Deputy Minister-level dialogue and more multi-level exchanges. The meeting concluded with the signing of a bilateral co-operation agreement to fight transnational crime.
