On the same day, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong received Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabad in Hanoi. PM Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabad expressed his gratitude for the hospitality shown by the Vietnamese government and its people.
He congratulated Vietnam on its development achievements as well as the country’s involvement in international affairs. He also expressed his hope for further co-operation between the two governments in investment, energy, trade and education.
Party General Secretary Trong also congratulated Kuwait on its successes in recent years, as well as expressed his gratitude for the support the country has given to Vietnam during the last 40 years of diplomatic relations. Party Gen Secretary Trong also call for further and deeper bilateral co-operation between Vietnam and Kuwait in the coming time.
