The event aims to provide updated information on the ASEAN community and answer questions raised by members of the National Assembly.
At the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh said that the government will make an assessment on ASEAN membership over the past 20 years.
The deputy prime minister also asked the National Assembly to co-operate with related agencies to enhance the role of Vietnam when joining the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly.
