Earlier, while meeting with the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Keichi Ishi, Deputy PM Dung asked Japan to support Vietnam in building and completing national major infrastructure.
The two sides agreed to promote co-operative agreements in training, human resource development in construction, sustainable urban development, foster people-to-people exchanges and tourism co-operation. He also met with leaders from Japan’s leading economic groups like Mitsubishi, and the Sojitz and Taisei groups. He said Japan was Vietnam’s leading and partner and hoped to see more investment and trade in Vietnam in various fields including infrastructure, support industries and agriculture.
